Extras are VAT, fuel, food, drinks and transportation from/to the boat. Stays at Netsel Marina in Marmaris are free but other marinas are extra. Trips to Greece will have extra costs such as customs and agency fees.

Availability CalendarYachting is expensive and expenses go up dramatically as yachts get bigger. Chartering a yacht is a great way to spend a week or two at a minimum cost. The costs of a chartered yacht may sound high if someone compares them with a hotel room but indeed it is economical to charter a yacht compared with the option of owning it. And the hotel comparison would be wrong. A better comparison would be to compare with a very large, private hotel suite that can travel across the sea at high speeds with its dedicated crew.
Boat owners do not make any profits from charter operations but simply lower their expenses.
Chartering eliminates multiple major ownership costs such as purchase, depreciation, repairs and upkeep of a yacht, crew salaries, marina fees and various legal and administrative costs as well as risks.
